Kaitlyn Hennie
Hey! I’m Kaitlyn—an actor, storyteller, creative, and aspiring model. I earned my B.A. in Theatre: Acting/Directing from SUNY Binghamton, where I trained extensively in classical and contemporary performance for both stage and screen. As a Black mixed-race woman, I’m passionate about telling stories that explore identity, love, and the full complexity of womanhood and Black girlhood. I bring my truth, my voice, and my whole self into every role, working to expand how people imagine what someone like me can do. My work is dedicated to uncovering nuance, depth, and authenticity—revealing layers too often missing from the stories we see.
Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or still discovering along the way, I’m committed to growing as an artist and building my voice—and my empire—one project at a time.

Spring 2025
I wrapped my run as Rosalind in As You Like It at the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts! This role was my biggest challenge to date and also the most rewarding learning experience I could have asked for. I loved diving into Rosalind’s quick wit and big heart in a production where the court was reimagined as a corporate office (yes—power suits and all!) and the Forest of Arden became a vibrant world of freedom and self-expression. This show challenged me, stretched me, and made me fall even deeper in love with Shakespeare.
